Teachers' responsibility

There are many problems in a school, such as bulling and relationship with others.  Teachers' quality and responsibility are one of them.  I think teachers should be evaluated, and depending on the result, their salary should be fluctuated.
First, teachers are so secure job that they tend to be lazy in classes.  In Japan, a teacher is civil servant, and once they get their job, their whole life would be guaranteed.  Because of this, some teachers are not enthusiastic and their class is not interesting.
Second, students' or their parents' opinions should be reflected.  The job is so socialist that there are less competitions between teachers to get high estimate.  It should be more democratic and assessments should be reflected immidiately.
In conclusion, if these problems are solved, the working environment will be better and students can get high quality education.

Season Change or Not

There are a lot of climates around the world, and people live in each places.  I live in Japan, which has four seasons in a year.  I like them and want to keep living in Japan for some reasons.

First, I would be fed up with monotonous wheather.  There are several seasons and each wheather has different good points. For example, in spring, cherry trees blossom beutifully and fascinate people.  In the next season, summer, the trees turn to be beautiful green, and animals are so avtive that you can feel lives in the season.  In fall, trees change their color to bright red, and also attract people.  In winter, snow dyes cities and makes them completely different world.  Each seasons attranct people's mind differently.

Second,  you can enjoy fasions due to the climate change.  In some places which has no season, like Australia, the joy of fashon must be less compared to Japan.  We enjoy coordinating our clothes as the season changes.  However, it is hard in those countries to wear thick clothes.

Of course, there are advantages to live  places where climates do not change.  The costs for equipments for each seasons are less.

For these reasons, I would like to live with seasons.

Computers or Books

If I decided to buy books or computers for a school, I would choose to purchase computers.  There are several reasons for this.

First, as companies' requirement, being able to use computer has been standard skill.  These days, businesses have been faster and faster because of the advance of science technology, and computers are necessary to this fast businesses.  If children do not learn how to use computers at school, they will not be required by many companies.

Second, computers have more information than books do.  Since Internet is widespread, anybody can supply countless information through it.  In addition, electrical books has been prevalent not to damage natural environments. Therefore, most books are in computers now.

Finally, in my opinion, all people must know how to control computers so that nobody get harmed by them.  Now that technologies have been still advancing, sooner or later, high-tech robots will appear which exceed human beings.  In this situation, humans themselves have to stop them, or the earth may lose everything.

Overall, it is vital to introduce new computers to schools.

As an employer

If I were an employer and there are two people, one is experienced but higher salary and the other is inexperienced but lower salary, I would hire sophisticated person.  There are three reasons for this such as economical, human relationship, and I think people who did their best should be rewarded.

First, it seems hiring lower payment guy is much more economical and thrifty idea, however, it will have detrimental effect on the company finally.  For example, if the company employ the inexperienced guy, he may not work enough to benefit the company. On the other hand, the company has to pay more for the other person, however, the person would work and benefit more than the extra payment for the person.

Second, immature worker may have bad influence on other workers.  If he does not work enough and bother other people, they have to help him and the efficiency would go down.  To seek more benefit, as a company, I want to avoid the situation, or the company would be made go bankrupt because of only one worker.

Finally, I want every people who made efforts to be rewarded.  They apply for specific companies because they want to, and they equip necessary skills for the company. They are enthusiastic to get the job.  Such people must have many good effects on the company not only economic perspective but any other aspects.

I know that it is important to consider economic reasons, but expecting overview of the future of the company is much more significant.  For these reasons, I would hire experienced applicant.

Think about this

Nowadays, food has become easier to prepare. Has this change improved the way people live?

Recently, world is changing dramatic speed, and it brought some benefits such as fast economy because people spend less time on cooking or eating.   However, detrimental problems came up at the same time.  Overall, I disagree to this changing for some reasons.

First, instant and jank foods have bad effects on human body.  Actually, they are reasonable and delicious, they includes food additives to prevent them from going bad.

Secound, the change deprived family of communication opportunity.  In fact, a mother and the children cooked dinner together, and it promoted their communication.  In addition, a family used to have dinner with the members all together, and it also engouraged their communication.  However, now children feel lonery when at their home and that sometimes leads to serious consequences.

Now you can see that the change has produced bad effects.  People should not seek only economical merits but human relationship. For these reasons, I oppose to the change.

Recent simple meals

I went to MacDonalds today, third time in this  week, and ordered Bigmac Set which costs 550 yen.  Recently, I began to buy or eat out more often than ever because I feel troublesome or waster of time and money for every meals.  This may be caused by several factors, I think.
First, I have tention for upcoming test, IELTS. As I mentioned before, some freshman students obtained the right to study abroad on behalf of this university, which means they passed the criteria of TOEFL or IELTS score.  I have dreamed to study abroad scince I started learning English, and now there is a chance of it.  How can I live without being tense.  This is the first time, but I want to get as much score as possible.  Because it costs a lot to take the test.
Second, due to the strain, I can't help studying.  To do so, I reduced the amount of work for money that led to less income.  Therefore, I managed to save money.
Finally, I don't like restaurants that are in this university. I think, it's far from satisfaction.
For these reasons, I've been to MacDonald frequently even though I know it is unhealthy.

A Risk Using Wi-fi Hotspots

Have you ever used wi-fi hotspots outside?  Have you ever imagined that it is risky?  There are a lot of wi-fi hotspots outside such as cafes and restaurants.  However, it is dangerous to adress sensitive information via open insecure wi-fi internet.  Recently, the number of victims who were stolen their sensitive information is increasing.  Criminals stole our information when we are on an open insecure wi-fi internet and transmit such information to banks, shops, and so on.  Surprisingly, it is done with comparatively easy techniques.  Not only individuals but also large companies were falling this type of crime.  Attackers used hotspots to get at particular individuals rather than to grab all the data flowing from everyone using a public network, said Ms McMurdie.  Everyone should be aware of what they are putting at risks when they use wi-fi networks, so am I.

Innovative Invention!!

Barrier free is one of the biggest problems around the world.  In Japan, many equipments have installed to faciliate physically-challenged people's life.  Needless to say, all people have rights for freedom.  However, people living with sight loss face a lot of  problems and that prevent them from going to new places.  "Currently, visiting a new city is often daunting, even for people with enough confidence to tackle the challenge independently. For others, who rarely leave home alone, the thought of an unfamiliar journey leaves them stressed and anxious and visiting a new area is an impossible dream." explained Jenny Cook, head of strategy and research at Guide Dogs.

To solve this problem, Microsoft invented an innovative headset.  It is adapted version of one which is already on sale.  It is designed for cyclists.  The headset gives users necessary information through a ear. Tests have been done and blind people felt more confident when they were using them.

Thanks to advance of technology, barrier free may be realizable in the near future.

Ebola Virus Disease

Now I often hear about Ebola Virus Disease through a lot of medias.  By the way, what is it? I researched about it and got general knoledges about it.

Ebola is a serious disease which is prevalent mostly in African area, and prove fatal.  It infects people through broken skin.  It take anything up from two to 21 days to appear the symptoms. People are infectious as long as Ebola is in their body, in some case, up to seven weeks after they recover.

The early symptoms are a sudden fever, muscle pain, fatigue, headache and sore throat.  Patients are prone to die from dehydration and multiple organ failure.

There is no direct cure for the disease, and patients are isolated from other people and get intensive cure from medical experts.  However, there are some potential medicines. If it is successful, it is used for healthcare workers first.

Make sure that anyone is at lisk of this disease.  Healthcare workers weare protective clothing, but hundreds of them have died.  The only precaution for this is to avoid contact with patients.

Fortunately, in Japan, there is not the patients, however, we must know about the disease and what to do, in case it comes into Japan.

Miracle Umbrella

It is almost 2015, science techiniches have advanced, but cool things which are like in Draemon, Japanese famous cartoon, haven't appear yet.  However, we may get a huge leap in umbrella technology.  What do you imagine when you hear new umbrella is about to be developed?  It's " air umbrella."  As it is named, it doesn't rely on conventional materials to keep you drying, but instead, creates force of air which is so strong.  It deflects the rain from the area above you.  Intrestingly, the size is adjusutable, meaning by twisting the handle, the area of coverage could be increased.  The size is potentially huge, so it could cover comfortably two people.

Are you facinated by the miracle umblella?  The umbrella would be launched from next spring.  Before you buy, why don't you check this movie, and look at how useful that!

Donburi

Today's class was canceled because typhoon struck Kinki area.  I was free today.  However I went to uni afternoon and I discussed about presentation contest which I am going to participate in with my partner.

I haven't cooked new dishes recently, so this blog homework gives me opportunities to cook new dishes.  I cooked Donburi using seasonal vegitable; eggplant.  This is it.
Donburi is a Japanese food that ingredients are served over rice in oversized bowl.  You can put anything you like on rice.  I put eggplant, onion, cabbage and pork.  I seasoned it with sauce which soy sauce, suggar, sake and vinegar were mixed.  It was tasty but I wanted more thick taste.  I wonder what to add in the sauce next time.

New semester

Long summer vacation has finished, and fall semester has just began.  I enjoyed the vacation hunging out with my friends.  But I felt that it was too long.  The former half of it was great, filled with a lot of plans.  On the other hand, I was just working the other half.  I had no money to visit anywhere.

Now, a week has passed since fall semester began.  And I'm regletting that I shoud have studied in the long vacation to study abroad. In fact, some students have already achieved a criteria of it.  He says " I studied so hard, and manadged to get necessary score on TOEFL test." Then I decided to get necessary score during this semester. So I decreased the amount of time to work.

I am going to do everything more seriously than ever before in this term, and challenge many things to improve myself.

Hoikoro

Annoying thing happened today. My bike was stolen. I'm really shocked and I can't believe that my attached bike was stolen. I have been used it for about 6 years. I want the thief to give my bike back.

Today, before my bike was stolen, I cooked Hoikoro for lunch. This is it.

Hoikoro is a Chinese dish. I think it's great that everybody can cook anything at their home. There is anything in supermarket recently. I just bought sauce of hoikoro and mixed with stir-fried vegitables. How easy! The taste was, of cource, nice!

This is the last time I upload blogg. Thank you for checking my blog!

Stir-fried Vegitables

Yesterday and the day before, I joined Scout Club's camping. It is to welcome freshmen. We went to Tottori by bus and had a nice time. Because of that , I had no time to cook elaborate dish, so I will show the most helpful dish for univercity students , Stir-fried Vegitables. This is, literally, only to stir-fry meats and vegitables. I made this.

It includes moyashi, cabbage, pork, and egg. You can arrange vegitables to whatever you like. It is healthy, satisfactory, and tasty. If you are living alone, you must have cooked this.
Next week, if possible, I want to introduce Brazilian foods. See you.

I'm getting used to working as part time job . Coworkers are nice and friendly . The job is so busy that I can forget time . So I think I will continue it . Because of it , I have less time to cook , so I thought to cook easy one . I made panna cotta . It was really easy and tasty ! This is the photo .

I made caramel sauce also . But the caramel sauce was congealed like jelly . I wonder how to make it more liquid .  Next time I want to improve and make it perfect!  They are so delicious , so I want to cook it again and again! Through this , I learnt that so many sugar is used to cook sweets . It must be bad for my health .  I shouldn't eat too much to keep healty .

Samosa

It's getting hotter and humid . I hate this wheather . I took interview test two weeks ago and passed it. So I began to work as a part time job at Osho.  As I mentioned , I cooked Tanzanian food: Samosa. It seems that there is few originally Tanzanian foods. Samosa is originally from India. Tanzania was colonized by India , so some Indian foods are eaten in Tanzania. This is what I cooked.

Curry flavor meat and squashed potato are rolled with pastry sheet for Harumaki. It was so delicious.
But that is not enough for meal. It's a kind of snack. I want to cook again. But the rolling process is bother and takes so long time. So I will cook again when I have enough time to do. I'm thinking what to cook next. If you have any request , please comment.

No cook

Recently I am getting used to living in Kyoto. I've got some friends and beginning to enjoy university life. By the way, I applied to the part time job I mentioned last week , and I am taking interview test the day after tomorrow. I don't want to fail again , so I will do my best. If I pass it , please come and visit me.
I did not cook a new menu this week. I'm thinking what to cook. But all menues I imagin are Chinese dishes. I want to cook ones of other countries. Oh , when I was just writing this post, I hit upon good idea. In an other class, I am preparing for a presentation about Tanzania, and the professer said that cooking dishes of the country is a good way to know the culture. So next week, I am going to cook Tanzanian food. Please wait in anticipation. See you next week!

"Subuta"

It's getting warmer and warmer recently. I feel today is the hottest day in this year.
Last week I told that I had failed to the interview. So I was looking for a new job. Then I found "Osho" . And I'm looking for Juku's teacher. I want to get eiether one. Probably I'm going to take one of the interview test by next week. So I will inform the result next week.

Today, I'm showing "Subuta" which is Chinese food. I cooked this on Saturday, but had forgotten to upload. This is it

It took about two hours cooking. I bought chicken by mistake instead of pork. So I was concerned about it. But the taste was perfect and the chicen's food tecture was not so different from pork.
This is the best dish I ever cooked.

Sweet

I need to work at a part time job. Last Friday , I went to AEON mall to get  an interview. And I was told to wait the report of result until today. If I passed , the shop manager calls me. But the report dosen't call. I'm still waiting. I'm beginning to look for another one.

Today, such a dipressed day, I made "gomadango". It's Chinese sweet , I think. When I go to Osho which is very famous Chinese food shop in Japan , I always be fascinated by it. This is it.

There is anko in it. This is my first time making dango. I had torouble making round shape. I didn't know how much water I should add. So they were a little soft and some of their anko came out when I was frying them.
But the taste was good. I want to make them better again.

Sunday, May 4, 2014

Hello. Yesterday, I went to KUFS sport festival. I got new friends, and had a great time! Today, my golden week has begun. I came back to my hometown. So I'm updating from not in Kyoto but my hometown.
I watched "Moko's Kitchen" a few days ago. Then I found a good menu to cook which looked nice and easy to cook!

I cooked "Takomeshi". This is it.

But it was weak taste. I think it needed a little more soy sauce and pepper.

I cooked at my home, so it was easier cooking than doing at my home in Kyoto. Because my home in Kyoto has IH kitchen. It is difficult to adjust fire so a little difficult to cook.

If you have advice or idea , please tell me!

First Cooking

Hello. At first I was surprised hearing that our home work was to make a blog. My blog may seem to be a little strange for you , because this is my first time to do.
Anyway I thought what to do. Then I thought that I like cooking, so this is a good chance to increase repertory of my menu.

I always look what to cook online. Then find ones which look good. This time I chose "Italian Chicken" URL http://cookpad.com/recipe/2562351. Whole process was easy and I could cook nicely.
This is it.

The taste was plane, but a little sour. I should have added a little sugar when  tomato sauce was being boiling, I think.

The next day, a can of tomato was left over so I cooked one more dish. "Tomato Risotto"

This time I thought it would be sour , like previous one. So I added sugar. Then it became milder.

Now I'm wandering what to cook next week. If you have any request or idea, please tell me!
