Ebola Virus Disease

Now I often hear about Ebola Virus Disease through a lot of medias.  By the way, what is it? I researched about it and got general knoledges about it.

Ebola is a serious disease which is prevalent mostly in African area, and prove fatal.  It infects people through broken skin.  It take anything up from two to 21 days to appear the symptoms. People are infectious as long as Ebola is in their body, in some case, up to seven weeks after they recover.

The early symptoms are a sudden fever, muscle pain, fatigue, headache and sore throat.  Patients are prone to die from dehydration and multiple organ failure.

There is no direct cure for the disease, and patients are isolated from other people and get intensive cure from medical experts.  However, there are some potential medicines. If it is successful, it is used for healthcare workers first.

Make sure that anyone is at lisk of this disease.  Healthcare workers weare protective clothing, but hundreds of them have died.  The only precaution for this is to avoid contact with patients.

Fortunately, in Japan, there is not the patients, however, we must know about the disease and what to do, in case it comes into Japan.
